How to Join Green Oath
Green Oath is a working network built on trust, transparency, and shared responsibility.
For Farmers
To join the Green Oath network, farmers must agree to the following:
Requirements
- Sign the Green Oath
This is a public commitment to grow food with care for the land, the soil, and the life it supports. - Submit an Input List
Provide a clear list of inputs used on your farm, including fertility, pest control, weed management, and post-harvest practices. - Schedule an Inspection
An on-farm visit is required to verify practices and ensure alignment with the Oath.
Inspections are not punitive—they are observational and conversational.
Cost
- First year: Free
- After year one: $10 per year
This fee helps support basic operations, site maintenance, and coordination within the network.
Once approved, your farm will be listed publicly in the Green Oath directory.
For Non-Farmers & Supporters
Green Oath also welcomes individuals and organizations who support regenerative agriculture and want to contribute to the network.
Who This Is For
- Landowners offering land for lease
- People offering farm labor or skills
- Equipment or infrastructure sharing
- Education, processing, or logistical support
- Other services that strengthen local farming
Requirements

- Provide your area of operation
- Describe the services or resources you wish to offer

Approved supporters may be listed in the network as resources for farmers.
Donations
Green Oath is independently run and funded.
If you believe in this work and want to support the network, donations are welcome. Contributions help cover:
- Website and directory maintenance
- Farm inspections and coordination
- Outreach and administrative costs
Donations are voluntary and do not replace the requirements for joining the network.
